trigger shoe replacement on AP

Post by donthc »

hi here,

i was wondering how i can replace my trigger shoe. am stuck with 2 problems.

the first: the screw on the existing trigger shoe has its groove worn out, and i can't loosen/tighten the trigger shoe anymore.

the second: i wish to replace my lp2 trigger shoe with an lp10 trigger shoe, but i can't get it off the trigger beam.

can anyone help me on this?

If I understand your problem correctly, I think you will have to destroy the trigger shoe to remove it. I would suggest a fine file or saw blade on a dremel to cut through the shoe at the position of the worn out fastening screw.
