cutting the string

Post by edster99 »

Hi all

A technique observation. About one shot in 10(ish) I have the following happen. As the shot goes, its like the trigger fall has cut a piece of string that was stopping my arm pinging off in one direction or another. I'd say my view of the sights is that it goes well out into the white. Normally when this happens, the sight alignment isn't affected, and so usually it is a 9 - but never a 10! Anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening? My approach is that I am going to concentrate on perfecting my follow through and it will naturally disappear into the background, but any comments would be appreciated

cheers

Two "Horses" (vs "Zebras") that immediately come to mind are

- NPA
- Trigger

But the exact symptoms as you describe kinda rule both of those out . . .
