AP Vel

Hi Shooters, when measuring AP pellet velocity, at what distance in front of the muzzle do you measure? Morini say's the velocity should be 500 f/s so where would I place the window? As close as possible to the muzzle?

Does 15 or 20 f/s mean much as far as accuracy?

Thanks, John

No, not much. 4 inches from the muxxle, or two feet? Difference insignificant.

Yes. For accuracy it may count some.
And for "tearing" of holes in paper targets, 20 feet/sec could make some difference.
