2008 NEW JERSEY OPEN OUTDOOR 3 POSITION REGIONALS AND STATE CHAMPIONSHIP at ANJRPC CHERRY RIDGE RANGE
June 7 & 8, 2008

THERE WILL BE 2 REGIONALS RUN THIS WEEKEND. SATURDAY, AN NRA CONVENTIONAL 3 POSITION REGIONAL AND SUNDAY AN NRA 3 POSITION REGIONAL, PLUS, THE 2 DAY GRAND AGGREGATE WINNER WILL BE DECLARED STATE CHAMPION

RELAY TIME: 9:00 AM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

RULES: NRA Smallbore rules apply. All classification cards will be checked. If a competitor does not have a class card or temporary book, they will be assigned to the master class. All competitors must be members of ANJRPC or their own State Association. NJ State Champion must be NJ resident and ANJRPC member.

ENTRY: $40.00 for 2 days, $25.00 for 1 day. Team entry (2 shooters-paper match, aggregate match) $10 per team per day. Juniors firing for no awards: $30.00 2 days, $20 for 1 day. MATCH 11 NRA 3 POSITION STATE CHAMPIONSHIP (AGGREGATE OF MATCHES 4 & 9)
NOTE: target clips are needed. Every shooter should have at least 12

AWARDS: NRA WILL PROVIDE GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE REGIONAL MEDALLIONS FOR EACH REGIONAL, (providing there are 15 competitors in each Regional), PLUS, EACH CLASS WINNER (match winner is by default, a class winner) WILL RECEIVE A 50% OFF CERTIFICATE FOR CAMP PERRY. If a class winner has already won one certificate, (3 position) the certificate can be passed down to the runner up in the class. A shooter is allowed to win one certificate in each discipline, prone and 3 position each year. Rest of awards to be determined. Match winners not eligible for class awards, except the certificate. A class with less than 10 shooters will be combined upward until there are 10. If there are less than 10 combined in the master class, they will shoot for open awards only. In team match, 1 award for every 2 teams. In the Grand Aggregate match, Special awards to: STATE CHAMP, HI JUNIOR, HI WOMAN, High Intermediate Senior (inclusive 57-64), High Senior (65 and up) (5 in category) only 1 special award per competitor.

Directions to Range: From South, Rt. 80 or 287 or 46 to route 23 north. Continue on rt. 23 past Oak Ridge Reservoir (on left) to Canistear Road (about 12 miles north of Rt. 287) Right turn onto Canistear Rd and proceed for about 4.2 miles to Range Road. Proceed into property, at first junction, left turn down the hill to smallbore parking (on your left). From north, rt. 84 to rt. 23 south to Canistear Rd, make left turn at light onto Canistear Rd and proceed for about 4.2 miles to Range Road. Proceed into property, at first junction, left turn down the hill to smallbore parking (on your left).

There will be camping permitted but NO groundfires.
