2 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how heavy a foot you have. My daughter lives in Chicopee and that is around 2 hours to Poughkeepsie (my parents) and that is 15 minutes from the range where the match is being heldvisitor wrote:About how long a drive from Worcester, Mass?
If you choose to do this, I would suggest going across the Mass. Pike to the Taconic State Parkway, South (the only way to go). For something more specific, I would have to spend a couple of minutes with a old county map. The range is a stones throw from the Dutchess County Airport.
Just a wee bit curious. Free 60 shots @ 50 yards 1,5min/shot
Ok, so this is the 50m FP event, I got that. But 50 yards? That's like 5 meters short, right? I used to shoot a lot of PPC and that was @ 50 yards and if I remember correctly that was only ~45 meters.
And then there is that 1,5min/shot? Is the whole competition shot like a 60 shot final? Or does it just mean that you have 90 minutes available? And if so - why not 120 minutes as it should be?

Virtually all ranges in the US are set up in feet and yards, not meters. The targets used for the 50 yard FP would be appropriately reduced versions.Mellberg wrote:Just a wee bit curious. Free 60 shots @ 50 yards 1,5min/shot

The 1.5 min/shot I have no idea about.
