Walther LG300 serial numbers

I have 2 LG300s.

As I was looking at the for-sale section of another forum, I saw a Dominator for sale, with several pictures.

I noticed the "serial number" on his gun was the same five digits as one of mine.

Are these actual serial numbers? or just production run numbers?

If not serial numbers, does anyone know where the "real" serial numbers are?

Then more than one gun can have the same serial number?

dont think so.

best to speak to walther, they have records of them all. I know the history of one of mine, and all i quoted was the number.

the latest i've seen on a dommy is 50500+ so i'm guessing there's only a 500 or so been made.
