Running Target scope mystery

Post by Gaines Blackwell »

I recently bought a 1967 FWB 300S RT with a B. Nickel (Supra) Marburg scope. It has RT dual reticles...twin post. I thought RT scopes were all 4X but this one is a variable 7X12. It does have the correct 4 knobs. Why the high power and variable ability? Does anyone have a manual for this one and if so could I get a copy? Big hunk of g !!

I had that same scope on a 50m Walther running target .22.

I also shot 10m RT but used a 2-4X TKO with dual dots. You changed lead by changing power.

RT scopes

Post by Gaines Blackwell »

Thanks guys,
I now understand that 50M RT uses such scopes and that airguns are limited to 4X. I also found the Nickel websight , they are still going strong.
