Progressive Position Pistol is a USA Shooting youth program. It is designed to provide a program where youth can shoot at their age and ability level. Younger kids shoot more supported positions. Youth participate and compete in their category or position.

Competitive PPP events are a 40 shot match. All particpants shoot 40 shots in one of the 5 positions. Scores and awards are given for the different categories (positions).

The 5 positions are beginning suported, basic supported, advanced supported, two handed unsupported and one handed unsupported.

For more info try this link: http://www.usashooting.org/youthPistol.php

The Dixie Challenge will have an Open class for adults shooting the one hand unsupported position.
