Anybody know if Falcon Machining (Lou Lombardi) is still in business?

Last update to his website appears to be from 2005, with no contact information.

Thanks for the website link, but that's where my question stems from.

At the bottom of the web page is a reference to a temporary closure while moving the shop in 2005. No phone number or contact information is listed since then.

About 3-4 years ago, Lou started building a new house, and later planned a new shop. I have seen a picture of the house in progress. No word on the new shop.

Keith, I know a local gunsmith/machinist that can make and modify target barrels, what were you looking to have done?

Pete,

I'd like to kill two birds with one Pardini, so to speak. One barrel and shroud with an attached scope mount for bullseye, and the factory barrel/shroud for ISSF.

Taking the Docter red dot off and on is tearing up the rails on both the gun and mount more than I'd like, and the re-zeroing gets to be a pain.

I'd like to shoot standard pistol in Ashland on Saturday and a 2700 in fairfax on Sunday by just switching barrels.

I will see Jerry Keefer at our bullseye league tonight, he owns and shoots a Pardini SP for Bullseye, and works in Goochland county, Virginia. I would guess you might well know him already. Excellent, meticulous work.

I had an order in with Lou at Falcon for over 2.5 years and finally just cancelled the order after speaking with him and getting no definite date when he would get to my order.

Thanks for the info. That's less than encouraging for getting a new barrel made.

Pete, looks like an alternate plan is in order. Any luck contacting Mr. Keefer?

I spoke with Mr. Keefer a couple of weeks ago. We talked about and he showed me where he had mounted the scope on his Pardini SP. He removed the rear sight and drilled and tapped the frame.

Whe I proposed the idea of mounting a scope mount on the barrel shroud, he looked at me a bit puzzled, don't think he thought of that as an option.

His other comment was that he would be years trying to get caught up to his back log...
