Coaching Staff: Coaches are championship level bullseye pistol shooters

January 5, Saturday Activity
7:30-8:00 AM Report to classroom
8:00-10:30 AM Fundamentals (Class)
10:30-12:00 AM Slow fire position (Class)
12:00-1:00 PM Noon Meal
1:00-5:00 PM Live fire, slow fire (Exercise)


January 6 , Sunday Activity
7:30-8:00 AM Report to Classroom
8:00-11:00 AM Beginning Mental Training (Class)
11:00-12:00 AM Live fire, slow fire (Exercise)
12:00-1:00 PM Noon Meal
1:00-3:00 PM Live fire Timed (Exercise)
3:00-5:00 PM Live fire Rapid (Exercise)
5:00-5:15 PM Closing comments

Fees: cash and personal checks will be accepted in payment for fees. Make check payable to Virginia Pistol League for $200.00.

Ammunition: Bring 400 or more rounds to ensure you don't run out.

Live fire: Live fire exercises will be fired indoors on a 25-yd. Range so rain gear is not necessary

Lodging and Food:
There are several "brand name" motels north of Richmond on Interstate 95 and east of Richmond on Interstate 64 (near the Airport). All of these are close to the Police Training Academy.

Several restaurants are also located along the interstate.

Directions:
The City of Richmond Police Training Academy is located at 1202 Graham Rd. on the Campus of Virginia Union University

Interstate 95 - (Coming From the North)
Get off I-95 at exit 78 Boulevard. Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Rte. 161 headed south. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Robin Hood Rd. Go straight through the light at Hermitage Rd. Robin Hood Rd. will merge into Brookland Park Blvd. Stay on Brookland Park Blvd. Turn right at the next traffic light onto Brook Rd.
Travel on Brook Rd., through two traffic lights (intersection of Sherwood Rd. and intersection of Overbrook Rd.) 0.6 mile to Graham Rd. Turn right onto Graham Rd. The Police Training Academy is on the right. Park on the street or in front of the building.

Interstate 95 - (Coming From the South)
Get off I-95 at exit 76A- Chamberlayne Avenue- Turn right at the light at the top of the exit ramp. As soon as you turn right, get in the left lane and bear left at the fork on to Brook Rd. Stay on Brook Rd. (0.8) miles. Turn left at the first intersection after the light at the intersection of Brook Rd. and Lombardy St. That street is named Graham Rd. Go 0.1 mile the police-training academy is on the right. Park on the street or in front of the building.

Interstate 64 - (Coming From the East)
Take I-64 to I-95 north, get on I -95 headed north. The first exit is 76A Chamberlayne Av. Follow the directions for: Interstate 95 - (Coming From the South)

Interstate 64 - (Coming From the West)
Take I-64 to I-95 South, get on I -95 headed South. The first exit is 78 Boulevard. Follow the directions for: Interstate 95 - (Coming From the North)
