New AP shooter

Post by crosshairs »

Hello everyone. I just joined this forum. I'm from Singapore. I have been shooting for 6 months now. I started from a few different club model 65(FWB) and progressed to M100 and right now I am sing a M103. It's not my own weapon, it's issued to me by the club. This is my pistol shooting history so far.

My actual shooting history goes back about 10 years. In my country we have a conscript army. My experiences include 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm. Have been shooting competitively for the army in the 5.56mm semi-automatic assualt rifle events.

My view on the 2 different types of shooting (live rifle vs air pistol) is that the basics are not exactly the same but inter-adaptable (if there is such a term). After a break of 7 years without shooting guns (was into competitive archery), I am still in love with the rush of triggering off, and I have since gained valuable insights into the sport.

I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone, and I hope you will share yours with me. May we all shoot straight and true.

Welcome Crosshair,
There are a lot of intelligent and experienced shooters on this forum. If you have any specific questions I recommend a search of the archives before diving in. Chances are good the subject you have a question about has been thoroughly explored.

In the event it has not, it will be within days. Looking forward to your posts.

Good Shooting
Phil
