Rika on Biathlon Rifle?

Has anyone found a good way to attach the Rika to an Anschutz biathlon rifle? Problem is the Rika clamp, designed for a round barrel, can't get a good grip on the (non-round) snow guard.

I'm using a hose clamp with a small rounded piece of wood as a sort of shim, but this still loosens up every 20 shots, and I have to stop, clamp back down, and re-calibrate.
