Just picked up a Diana 100 -- a couple of questions

I think my airgun habit just radically changed.

1) What maintenance is required?

2) It presently has a circle front recticle, which is fine for 10m targets. But a post would be good for backyard sniping. Are other recticles available?

re #2 - what you're looking for are "front sight inserts". You need to measure the diameter of the front sight hood (the holder) preferably in millimeters, and then order from places like Pilk (our host) or Champion's Choice or Champion's Shooter Supplies (if you're in the USA). Provided the front sight is some "standard" diameter, posts should be available.
