Pellet Weight

I have been shooting .5g Meisterkugeln in my air pistol, is there any advantage to using the .45g or .53g ? The pistol is a Pardini K-60, it shoots far better than I ever will...

i suppose that a lighter weight somehow results in less recoil and muzzle flip
