Shooting in San Francisco

I am going to be in SF for 10 days begining next week staying in the city. Hesitant to fly with my pistol
Any suggestions as to where I might find an opportunity to shoot air pistols in the city
Any good instructors/coaches/stors

I am a novice shooter new to the sport

You can try looking up the entry in USAS mag for PTT @ Coyote Point (San Mateo, CA) for contact info.

They have time limitation for firearm usage @ the range (San Mateo Co Sheriff's) that is limited by the local community: when firearm shooting is done, it's air pistol & rifle time.

You really want to contact club member there for instruction on how to set up target conveyer system.

Also check with club member re current legal issue with AP in the City it self.
