Does anyone have one the 65mm Konus spotting scopes. I saw them listed with the Gyah scopes at Champions shooter Supply and I'm wondering if they are any good. I'm looking for a new spotting scope and unfortunately I can not afford $600.00 for a Kowa.

I bought my daughter the Konus 80MM spotting scope a couple months ago.
She uses it at 33', 50', 50 and 100 yards. Works very well. Several of our other coaches have looked at the scope and are very impressed with the optics.
IIRC the cost was around $180.
One thing to be careful of, when the first scope arrived I went to unscrew the lens cap, the rear lens came out with the cap. It looked like it had been cross threaded from the factory. I sent it back and Champions sent me a new one.

Konus scopes
I use an 80mm Konus scope and I am very pleased with the quality of picture that I can attain with it. Konus scopes seem to be catching on with lots of shooters down this end of the world in either 65mm or 80mm.
