Post by pdeal »

Looking under new stuff on the Anschutz site I see where they are coming out with a new air rifle- model 8002 I think. Anybody know anything about it?

Very good diopter with canting correction, and dry shot. Maybe a long distance from first to second moment on trigger. And only 4,5 kg, so "light" for me. I'm going to add 0,5 kg at lest.

This is sortof an old post. The 8002 is a little newer than the 9003. They came out with the 9003 first and it is nice but darn expensive. It appeared to me at the time that they really raised the prices of air rifles. Then they came out with the 8002 which is price more in line with the 2002. Maybe a little more but close.

I have a shooter that just ordered an 8002. He should have it in a few days. I'll let you know what I think when I get my hands on it.

Yes I would like to hear about it. Some seem to think that the 8002 does not have the compensator. I hope this is wrong. Looking on Anschutz's site at the manuals it appears that it does. Is the 8002 and 9003 barreled action the same animal with the only differences being the stocks?
