Air rifle sight set

Hi,
I have few questions about sight sets.
1. Can I use an Anschutz Universal Micro click sight set with FWB 700 Air rifle?
2. Which is the best sight set available for air rifles?
3. Before buying any sight set what are the points one should look for after compatibility with the rifle?
4. The Anz universal sight set comes with metal inserts. I am still using metal inserts. Is it good to go for plastic inserts? What is the difference? (from shooting point of view)
5. Also plastic inserts comes with different color. As those are quite expensive I can not try out. So on what basis we should use colors? is is that we should have all for different light conditions?

Thanks in advance. I am not finding these technical answers any where. Hope I can get it here.

I can only speak of the P70 since I don't have a P700. I bet the dovetail is the same though so probably my experience with the P70 will apply to the P700 as well. The ans 7002 rear sight will fit on the P70 dovetail. I have seen people do it. The Anschutz front sight, the cantable one, can't remember the number, will not fit on a P70. I tried this just this weekend. Which is best? I don't think the FWB rear sight is best, probably the Anschutz is better but I have quite a bit of experience with the FWB rear sight (the one they put on the P70 anyway) and it is good enough.

I have found the Steyr rearsight to be very good; it can be adjusted for cant, like the Anschutz 7002 and the adjustments are sprung loaded to eliminate backlash. It was also rather cheaper than the 7002.

As for whether metal or plastic elements are better, it really is a personal choice. Some shooters dislike the bars on metal elements and so use perspex elements. Other shooters use these bars to monitor their cant, using a cantable foresight tunnel to ensure that they are level.

As elements are not that expensive, not when compared to the rifle, you might want to buy a small selection and try them. The best one for you is the one that gives the smallest groups.

Thanks a lot for your valuable information. But i would like some one gives more technical information about this. How exactly the color should be used, how some one should vary the iris aperture.. and all this stuffs...
