HILL PUMP QUESTION

Post by darticus »

I pump up my cylinder to 200 bars and the hill pump instructions say loosen the bleeder valve than remove your cylinder. When I do this air leaks from the bleeder valve and the cylinder drops in pressure. Now I don't open the bleeder valve and just unscrew my cylinder.Which is correct?Should the bleeder valve let pressure drop from cylinder?Ron

Unscrew your cylinder 1/2 - 3/4 turn to close the cylinder valve. Then open the bleed screw.
