Indiana State Outdoor International Pistol Match

An outdoor international pistol state championship match will be held on Saturday, October 1, in Indianapolis at the Marion County Fish and Game range. State championship and overall awards will be presented for Free Pistol, Standard Pistol, Center Fire and Sport Pistol. The Free Pistol match will start at 9am, followed by Standard and Center Fire/Sport Pistol. To register or for more info please contact Don Hyfield at h2de@juno.com. At the match program web page you specified there is no mention of the Sport Pistol round. Are you really offering a women's Sport Pistol round (30 shots slow fire, 30 shots duelling targets) ???

I realize the match program makes no mention of it, but YES we will be awarding medals for the Sport Pistol match (women and junior shooters both eligible). Sport Pistol competitors will shoot concurrently with the Center Fire Pistol match.

I hope that next year we get a little more notice. Also this year there is a conflict with the Regional Conventional Pistol Championship in Evansville. As some of us like to try our hand at both bullseye and international, it might increase participation. Good shooting!
