Post by Ray Garrett »

("please") Just obtained a P240 (32) and get "doubling", caused by ?(trigger pull too light?) and need to know which screw to adjust to cure trouble. I printed-out instruction sheet, just need to know WHICH screw to adjust. ("thanx!"), Ray

Adjusting trigger

Post by Mike Taylor »

Since you are getting doubling, I would suspect the hammer/sear engagement adjustment-screw is the one. However, I note in the manual that screw B is "principally only for adjustment at the factory" and screw C "must not be touched", so if a previous owner of the gun played with either or both of those screws, you may need the help of someone more experienced than I. Perhaps a call to Larry Carter is in order? I understand that he is very helpful regarding Hammerli problems.
