Budget 10m Target Machines

Post by j-team »

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of 10m target machines (changers/carriers) that are cheap. While RIKA and SPEITH are nice they are a bit expensive. I'll be wanting 240v not that pansy 110v!

Haering Target Changers are pretty good quality and VFM.

You do not say where you are in the world but, from your voltage requirement, I would guess it is not the US.

The power is in the amperage and I believe the Yanks 110 volts may be stronger in that regard.

Not correct I'm afraid. Power (watts), in general terms, is the product of voltage and current (amps). For the same power with half the voltage you would need double the current.

500 watts in the US is the same as 500 watts anywhere else in the world.

I'm from the UK so not totally sure about US distribution arrangements.

Brenzovich sell the Haering electronic targets but I don't know if they do the target changers as well.

(Häring and Haering are the same, it's just that ae is the lazy way of indicating the ä)
