Pistol Matches

Post by Alex »

I'm writing this for all of us paper punchers.
If your club or anyone you know of has an upcoming intl pistol match coming up, PLEASE share it with the rest of us. If two of you are getting together regularly to shoot intl pistol, PLEASE invite he rest of us. I cannot stress enough to everyone the importance of sharing this kind of info. I don't care if it's all legal and meets all ISSF rules and such.
There's a lot of talk and complaining about the USAS and the state of International style shooting shooting on these pages but the single most important thing that we can do as interested parties is share the wealth, of information that is. I cannot tell you the miles I traveled this past summer to be at matches to just get a glimpse of the new SP/RF guns.
Warren, this site is such a great thing. Maybe you could start a simple list of upcoming events that because they're not USAS or NRA sanctioned, would not appear on their schedules. It would be the responsibility of the interested party to contact the source.
And I implore you folks, when you see a non-shooter watching the goings on please be kind and helpful. I know most of you are, but we can all try a little harder.
Thanks all.

Hold center,
Alex

Alex,
A great source for pistol matches in the MD-DE-NJ-PA area is http://njpistol.com/. While its focus is BE, it does list club AP and FP matches.
