I have never attended a United States national championship in the ISSF/UIT pistol disciplines because:

None of shooting friends has ever attended

Family and other obligations don’t allow me to attend

I enjoy local competition but am not interested in national competition

I enjoy pistol shooting recreationally but not competitively

The national championships are just for the elite shooters

I enjoy the ISSF/UIT pistol disciplines but attend other national championships like Camp Perry
