FP lube

Post by zoned »

I read that Hammerli uses a graphite dry lube on the trigger assembly and some other product for the falling block mechanism. What is the best lube for Free Pistols---what are you using?

I use a Dupont lube "Krylox" in my Hammerli 152 where the cocking lever bears against the the falling block upon lockup and the cocking extension of the firing pin. Krylox is a non migrating thick consistency gel. Just a small drop will do at both these points. It stays where you put it.

Jim,

I believe the product name is "Krytox".

Where did you get it?
