Morini Duracell battery commercial

Post by jjjay »

i think Morini should pitch Duracell the idea for a commerical where top shooters use their battery for the 162 EI gun. it'll be like "Olympic shooter "name" choose Duracell as their trusted brand when gold is in their sight", "whether your are a 5yrs old playing with your toy gun, or a champion shooter Duracell is always there"

Nice idea - except that I'm pretty sure that Duracell no longer manufacture their version (m504 / 505) of the 15v cell (originally designed for magnesium based photo-flash bulbs) which are required for the Morini 162e and the Morini 84e free pistol. The most common battery used in these is the Varta alkaline v74px - so they could try going for a deal with them - except that Varta have a much bigger presence in Europe than in the US.
Then again running a campaign like this would probably go down far better in Europe than in would in the US anyway.
