Bullseye in Tucson, AZ

Post by F/V Icy Swan »

I am now spending winters in Tucson. I traveled to Phoenix to shoot at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club. Great range with wonderful turning targets but too far for me to drive regularly.

I can’t locate Bullseye shooting in or near Tucson, but I might be missing something. Anybody have any insights?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike

I also live in Tucson and would be interested in attending a local bullseye match. Hoping someone will chime in.

Rio Salado is no time saver for you and is not the "real deal" as PRGC (where I was on the Board of Directors).

I have forwarded this to a couple of guys I shot with from Tucson. Hopefully, they will respond to you.

Hi, I'm sorry to be late in responding. I have been dealing with Covid and then a minor surgery. There are no bullseye matches in Tucson to my knowledge. You two can get together and carpool to the matches at the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club. They have a very active program for BE and International pistol with excellent facilities and programming. If you are interested in future Tucson matches, consider Pima Pistol Club. They have 3 turning target stations now but stationary target stands could be added. I expect it would take some time for planning and approval but I'm sure there would be some interest. Contact Steve Reiter through the Pima Pistol Club if you are interested.
