The Collegiate National Championships are being shot right now. Air pistol was at Anniston yesterday, with Sport Pistol today & Standard pistol Saturday at Talladega. Today looks OK, but storms are moving in late Saturday, hopefully after the match is over. The 25m events are on electronic targets, and a few years ago a nearby lightning strike in the early morning scrambled half the targets. They got them working, but the match ran quite late.

Well, they almost pulled it off. They have 20 mph winds today in Talladega, and a bank of the electronic targets got blown over in the middle of the 2nd relay of Standard pistol. The Standard portion of the National Championship will be re-shot as a postal match once everyone gets home...
