I didn’t care for the shape of the trigger on my MG2 EVO RF so I took a 1911 trigger shoe (Ace #5) and auka-puckied it to the MG2 trigger. I used J-B Weld but any similar product or epoxy should work as well.
The MG2/MG4 trigger is too small to attach the trigger shoe using the Ace shoe’s Allen screws.
Adjustment remain the same as the original trigger with the ability to move the trigger up and down and to rotate it left and right.
I had tried modifying an original MG2 trigger but it always felt too skinny to me. The Ace #5 fits very nicely in the crease of my finger. To me, it provides positive control and quick repetitive placement for rapid or sustained fire because I don’t have to concentrate on finger placement.
The MG2 and MG4 parts are identical so it works great on my MG4 as well. It would probably be a good idea to get another trigger for the mod in case you want to return the pistol to the original configuration. MathgunsUSA may have the part. Matchguns in Italy won't because they are no more.

Re: Matchguns MG2/MG4 Trigger Mod
I 3D print triggers for a bunch of my pistols.

Further down in the thread, there's a link to a zip file with CAD versions that could be edited.

I forget what is in it, but I'm pretty sure I have a model of the factory trigger that could easily be made wider.
