EVO 10 e grip spacer plate

Hello all.
I was wondering if you guys could tell me if the steyr evo 10 e (the electronic trigger one) uses a spacer plate in the grip. The instruction manual says to use it in all single shot pistols while while the exploded view parts list on euroshooting does not show it. Krale also says it is not used. What confuses me is the instruction manual and the fact that the rear sights sits almost on the wood of the grip when the plate is not used. I made one just in case but can take it out.

I bought my lp10e used and my dont have a spacer just a thin plate for the grip screws to adjust on. Mine came with 2 grips and Rink was mounted already but looking at the part list it seems the electronic ones dont use the spacer.
