I still shoot my FWB C-25 mini and train new shooters for Standard Pistol and Rapid Fire with my FWB C-55. They both work great and still hit 10's. I do use a FWB P-44 Jr. for competition when I was still competing up until 2022. The two big drawbacks of CO2 is getting it refilled if you are not at your home range and at higher altitude it is impacted since velocity is reduced. There are a couple of ways around it, but the FWB C-25 you had a chamber that in theory filled before the shot was taken instead of using pressure directly off the cylinder.
