CHAMPIONS CROWNED AT 2024 USA SHOOTING RIFLE PISTOL NATIONALS

COLO SPRGS, CO (July 11, 2024) – Over fifteen national champions were named at the 2024 USA Shooting Rifle and Pistol National Championships June 24-30 at Fort Moore, Georgia.
Nearly three hundred athletes from across the nation came to compete in rifle, pistol, and paralympic events at the competition held at the U.S. Army Marksmanship ranges. The week-long event saw competitors of all skill levels. Paris 2024 Olympic team members and seasoned competitors shared the line with athletes who were making their nationals debut.
The following athletes earned their 2024 national champion titles:
-Sagen Maddalena: Women’s Air Rifle and Women’s 50m Smallbore Rifle
-Jared Eddy: Men’s Air Rifle and Men’s 50m Smallbore Rifle
-Marcus Klemp: Men’s Air Pistol
-Ada Korkhin: Women’s Air Pistol
–Emil Milev: Men’s Rapid Fire Pistol
-Katelyn Abeln: Women’s Sport Pistol
-YanXiao Gong: P1 Men’s 10m Air Pistol, P3 Mixed 25m Pistol, and P4 Mixed 50m Pistol
-John Wayne Joss: R6 50m Mixed Prone Rifle: SH1
-Kevin Nguyen: R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone: SH1
-Madison Champion: R4 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing: SH2
-Jazmin Almlie-Ryan: R5 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone: SH2
-Debra Freed: P2 Women’s 10m Air Pistol
-Levi Clark: 50m Prone Rifle
-Bernard Melus: Center Fire Pistol
-Joseph Koh: Free Pistol
-Pranav Kamath: Standard Pistol

Athletes received an array of various prizes thanks to a handful of our partners and sponsors including Axil Brands and Gun and Trophy Insurance. At the end of the competition, a handful of athletes took part in a fun team air match event. The Nova Sharp Shooters team, Suman Sanghera and William Regala, took first place in Air Pistol. The AMU Team Black, Ali Weisz and Brandon Muske, earned first in Air Rifle.
This competition was the second and final match that determined the 2024 Junior World Championship team. The following athletes will be competing in Lima, Peru, this fall:
-Rifle: Braden Peiser, Jacob Wisman, Tyler Wee, Jack Ogoreuc, Hayden Bell, Griffin Lake, Katie Zaun, Emme Walrath, Mackenzie Kring, Elizabeth Probst, Rachael Charles, Carley Seabrooke, and Elijah Spencer.
-Pistol: Nathan Lim, Marcus Klemp, Mark Shen, Suman Sanghera, Sneha Gupta, Eva Allen, Riya Salian, Saanvi Singh, Blaine Simpson, William Regala, Johnathan Dorsten, and Reese Metzler.
The 2024 Junior World Championship will also see shotgun events. The shotgun team qualified earlier this year in March. The following athletes will be competing in Lima, Peru, this fall:
-Shotgun: Alishia Layne, Madeline Corbin, Gracie Hensley, Karsyn Ross, Benjamin Keller, Jordan Sapp, Josh Corbin, Aidin Burns, Ryann Phillips, Carey Garrison, Ava Downs, Abigale Wigh, Emilio Carvalho, Matthew Kutz, William Browning, Zachary Rippeto.
The 2024 USA Shooting Shotgun National Championships will take place Sept. 9-22 in Hillsdale, Michigan. Up next for the team is the Olympic Games Paris 2024 July 26-Aug. 11.
