IZH-35M recoil spring

Post by Higham »

Does anyone know of a substitute spring I can use to replace a recoil spring on an IZH-35M? Or where to find a new one? Thanks in advance.

Another thought, a recoil spring for an AW93 might work.

IF the AW93 spring would work, it would be the earlier model spring - before serial number 20000.

I don't think the later model spring (after serial number 20000) comes separately but is rather fixed to the rod. Best to check with Pilkguns to see if they have them and if the early model spring will work.

I asked a few years ago about the later model and they didn't carry in stock.

How many coils, the spring outside diameter and what is the wire thickness would be good info for people looking to see what might match up.

Sa-tevo, wire diameter is .60mm, length 136mm, spring OD 4.70mm, spring ID 3.35mm, and 5 turns in 10mm. That's the best I can come up with.

I have looked around and came up with zero...

Shiloh- I will contact Pilk.

Greetings,

Based on memory, the Walther KSP200 was a copy of the IZH-35M.

Some parts are still available from Germany.

Judith is nice to deal with. Bear in mind, shipping is via DHL ($$$$).

With the part number, 2644207, you might be able to source on from Champion Choice or Earl's Walther.

Cheers,

Dave

fc60/Dave,

Good reply. I was coming from the opposite direction. Horses versus zebras when one sees a hoof print.

fc60 good info. I will start with that.

I gave the measurements to wollf springs and they are no help.

DHL to Australia: €60! For a €10 piece which weighs in at (say) 50gm and fits in a standard Jiffy bag. Sheesh!
