Greetings,

An old US Military drawing, B503, says

"Charge of smokeless powder to give 820 +/- 25 FPS velocity at 25 1/2 feet in Pistol, Automatic Cal .45, M1911A1"

The material list quotes "5 grains of Propellant Powder, 50-12-11".

The powder brand is not specifically mentioned; but, I have seen other drawings that quote "Bullseye" powder.

To duplicate, use your chronograph.

Cheers,

Dave
