Pardini Frame Shock Absorber: .22 vs .32 Interchangeability

Post by Gwhite »

The college team I help coach just had a Pardini SP New donated. It uses the older frame mounted green rubber buffer, part #717. The pistol was purchased in the mid-2000's, so the shock absorber is about 15 years old. If it doesn't have rigor mortise by now, it's still not going to last forever, and I'd like to replace it.

Pardini USA doesn't even list them as out of stock. However, they have stock of part #817 shock absorbers, which is the version for the HP (.32 cal) pistols.

Given that you could switch barrels & slides to go back & forth from .22 to .32, I'm guessing the parts are the same.

Can anyone verify that?

Thanks! The tool kit has also gone missing, and I don't see that on their web site either. I ordered one a while back, and the entire tool kit cost less than one buffer...

I'll call them on Monday & place an order.
