New Series of Walther Target Pistols: CSP

Post by lognom »

I just saw this on Walther's German website: a new series of less expensive 22lr pistols.

This is just a rebranded Xesse, right? Annoying that the 1911-ish model has no rails and a non adjustable trigger. Could be a nice starter gun for folks getting into bullseye.

Just get one of the other versions and add the 1911-style grips.

Yes, just thinking about a single purchase starter pistol. A 1911 conversion is often recommended, but then you have to go down the route of finding a lower, tuning, etc. Having a 1911 grip on a 22 that you don't have to fool with (nor buy separately) would be appealing to many people, I think.

That's why High Standards were so popular.

Adjustable trigger is easily added , the part costs about $40. Scope rail is available at Red Feather too.
