Nice Revolver Grip. But what for?

Post by nick marshall »

Hi
Any help would be really appreciated.
I have a lovely revolver grip with a palm shelf. Beautiful wood. But no idea what revolver it might be made for.

Now that us folk in the UK can’t own this sort of thing anymore, I thought perhaps someone here might be able to help.
When it’s been identified I will want to sell it here.

Plus, if anyone recognised the make or even the wood. That would be great.
The 2 extra holes on both halves of the grip may be a giveaway. But not to me.

Please see the attached photo’s.

Hard to say really, looks like its for a Colt Python based on the pin holes, wood looks like goncalo alves.

Brilliant!
Thank you so much for your help. I did own a Colt Python many moons ago.
Really appreciated.
Think I can sell it with some confidence now.

Thank you.
