Anschutz 9015 Refill Adapter Leaks?

Hi,
I have an Anschutz 9015 with a lightly used refill adapter. Now, I can't fill the cylinder because the refill adapter leaks. I haven't removed the o rings to inspect but they appear to be intact, and I've only refilled the cylinder four or five times so the rings haven't been used much. Could the valve controlled by the air release screw be stuck open? I can't figure out how to disassemble the adapter.

There is a ball bearing under the pressure relief valve thumb screw. If the thumb screw was completely removed it is easy to loose the ball. I think it is 4mm
