Thanks to all who gave me advice on setting up my home range.
I made some adjustments that some might find interesting.
I have one of those cheap X-10 cameras, I used someones idea to put it near the target to have pseudo electronic scoring...works pretty good and stisfies the gadget factor in me.
I also found a freeware countdown timer. I run both off the same notebook computers and it makes for a nifty timer and scoring system.
I was going to buy a timer but the computer timer works great and it's free.
Using the laptop works nice as my shooting log is on there, and my finals practice MP3 from targetshootingca is on there.
The timer program is called cool timer for anyone that is interested.
