Styer trigger shoe lateral movent fix?

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue in that my trigger shoe can be knocked off center of the little rail/post that it fits over and screws onto. Shooting causes no problem but if inadvertently bumped the blade can be knocked off axis. I thought about putting a drop of clear nail polish on the rail along with a drop inside the mounting hole(?). is there a common fix for this little annoyance?

A screwdriver with a larger radius on the handle. The supplied version is too skinny and slippery.

We never could find a way to make the standard (plastic) Steyr trigger blade tight enough to eliminate this problem. It was always infinitely adjustable, at the most inopportune moment. The standard (plastic) trigger blades are worse than the adjustable Steyr trigger blades, in this regard. You could try one of the adjustable blades. Alternatively, the Lottes-Putter comes with a hex screw that can be torqued down enough to eliminate most of the problem.

Interestingly, the FWB P8X uses a similar trigger blade set up, but attempts to solve the slipping problem with a groove and slots in the trigger bar. The trigger blade that comes with the P8X does slip about, though; similar to the Steyr. Again, the Lottes-Putter solves the problem for the most part. (Both the Steyr and the FWB use the same trigger blade, from Lottes.)

The Morini pistols do not have this problem as they use a grooved and slotted trigger blade mounting set-up.

At the end of the day, the only fool-proof solution is a switch to a Morini style trigger blade mount (a Morini air pistol)...or finding someone who can machine a trigger bar to fit your needs,...

More torque is the wrong answer. You guys should dust a bit of rosin powder into the joint and then tighten it. Its a wonderful non-permanent way to address the problem.....

I use the one for my Morini - no issues whatsoever. Once you lock it - nothing moves or gets out of alignment.
