I have a FWB 300 and shoot only right handed, offhand. I have gotten used to reaching over the rifle to operate the pump. I have often wondered if a left handed rifle, air or smallbore, would be more comfortable to use as I could operate it with my left hand and leave my right on the grip, but I do not have a left handed rifle to try it. Has anyone else done this?

I'm only left handed on that one side.

I find I can operate the cocking lever on my FWB 603 and others using my left hand although the 603 lever requires somewhat greater effort than that of the 300. It all works best for me if I move the cocking lever slowly and steadily.
