any experiences with levels on your match sights?(to see if you hold your
rifle up right, not canting)
many different systems;
on the action, in front of diopter
on top of rear sight
on rear sight so you see it while aiming

level on rear sight
Moderators: rexifelis, pilkguns
I use one on the front sight
and one on scopes for some high power shooting.
Some of my rear sights for my match rifles have built in "cant adjustment" so using a level may help determine cant in relation to the sight...but the sight is "pre canted" so it's not entirely purposeful.
On the front sight I find it helpful because it's a bit easier to see.
Some of the ones I have for my scoped guns are mount based and do well for checking cant.

Re: I use one on the front sight
Are levels legal in 10m AP and AR?

Re: level on rear sight
Mine is on the action (over the chamber) using an offset sight block (the same as my sights). Works just fine for me. I didn't want one on the front sight to distract my sight picture.
