Singing in the Rain
Sorry, I meant shooting in the rain. A constant experience here in sunny Vancouver. Rain forest doesn't begin to describe it. A few of us shoot ISSF Std and CF/Sport pistol regularly. We're under cover on the firing line, but the targets aren't. We have to use simple target stands made from corrugated plastic board stapled to two wooden 1 x 2s. I've fabricated a target hood from foam board and duct tape, and it works, tho becoming sodden over the course of a match. Has anyone else from a wet climate devised a more elegant solution?

The roof sounds like a good idea, but I'd use "coroplast" instead. It won't get soggy.Hamster wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 7:39 pm Sorry, I meant shooting in the rain. Plastic snow fence stretched between posts, at the desired height. Clip targets to the fence. Once the fence is shot up, replace.
