S&W is sadly no longer supporting the 52 platform and has no parts or service for it.

Hence why I am looking for a pistol smith that may have his own stash of old parts etc. I do the same thing for the old airplanes I own. Lots of mechanics that are old school have tons of old and many times hard to get parts.

S&W has "local" repair centers. Check them out.

I admit I don't know where they are, but used one in the distant past.
