Krale pellets

Post by m1963 »

We stumbled across a Krale branded H&N pellet today. Price is $4.46 per tin, when one buys 50- with free shipping to the states.

Anyone tried these, in either rifle or pistol?

Many of us have tried H&N. These are just rebranded at a good price. I REALLY like the JSB 7.33gr. (see my tests).

The GAMOs may be what were once RWS Basic. How bad could they be?

I started with these (i am from the neterlands).
They are good price for a good pellet.

But I can't help but to think ..... are they not good enough for H&N?
Of do they just change the sticker :) ....

If I see the difference between RWS Basic, RWS Meisterkugln, RWS R10 Match you can see the price difference.

But to be honest, I never firetested them .. just used them on random pistols to shoot.

Just for the heck of it, I bought at tin of 500 H&N Excite "Plinking" pellets from Pyramid Air. $4.99 for 500.

They're uniform and accurate for my purposes training when the H&N Sport pellets are out of stock. The only negative is that they don't punch quite as crisp a hole as the Sport or top of the line pellets. I would not use them in a match, but for raining they're good and very inexpensive.

They just changed the sticker.

H&N rebranded some of their pellets to "World Champion" for Don Nygord. They did the same thing for a large Canadian dealer. Others, too, I'm sure.

I actually thought of making labels that said Select Pellets with my name as the manufacturer, just to yank Rovers chain

I picked up some of these (CC by H&N) just out of curiosity. Not sure if they actually shoot any differently, but they have a different finish (glossy not flat) which makes them infinitely easier to handle. They are slightly heavier at +0.3 gr.

Would be interesting to know if it was a finish, or plating, or just some another alloy. Almost has the shiny appearance of high Sn content babbitt.
