The 700 has a better regulator, sight height adjustment std., better balance and stock adjustment overall and as I know from a dealer point of view it look better.

Just completed the first look at the new P700 FWB. Overall, a very professional appearing product, instead of the previous colors, which I am certain caused some stocking problems for dealers, now everything is Black, Grey, Clear Anodize or Polished Stainless, goes well with all outfits....
Most noticable changes involve inclusion of a fully adjustable sighting line system, no more need for sight extension muzzle tubes or riser blocks all of this is built in so that the sighting line can be adjusted to the limit of the ISSF rules without accessories, a very welcome change.
A very straightforward procedure is outlined in the instruction manual for adjustment of the recoil absorber which is now relocated to a more appropriate location and can be balanced to the shooter's preference.
Compared to the new Anschutz 9003 Premium, the only really obvious things that are not included are weights to adjust the gross weight and balance of the rifle. All weights are accessories and must be purchased separately.
They also offer two "support" pieces which are designed to contact the shooters pectoral area on the buttplate side of the chest as have been popularized by some of the accessory suppliers, again these must be purchased separately.
The cocking and loading lever has been changed completely and would be familiar to those used to the Anschutz 2002CA as it is very similar, opening by lifting vertically off to the side of the boreline and out of the way of the sighting line.
Overall, this product looks like a very nice revision and improvement of the P70 Aluminum Stock Version.
There is an opportunity to add about .68 Kg of additional weight before the 5.5 Kg limit is reached which should allow the rifle to be balanced to suit the preference of any shooter.
