support

Post by conradin »

I decide to buy a lower support for bench rest shooting for my FWB. They gave me two choices.

3.2.220.925 Support border, with non-slip surface
3.2.310.550 Support border, black,
With the former $100 more expensive.

I look at their catalog and the two items seem to be identical in the diagram.

Does anyone of you own one? What does it mean "non-slip surface"? Does that mean it is ok to drink Natural Lite beer while bench shooting?

Non-slip surface sounds fairly simple: the surface is textured so it doesn't slip.

"They" are Feinwerkbau?

It depends on how you want your front bag to grip. If you're shooting free recoil (most rimfire benchrest shooters); you don't want a non-slip surface.

That made me spill my tea! Would a good German brewery make a lite? How about a nice Alt or Hefeweissbier?
