Does anyone know anything about the current Federal 711B?
Is it a good practice round?
Thanks!

Save your $$. I've had nothing but bad luck with it. Lots of extraction problems, not enough oomph to fully work the slide to the rear, failure to feeds, etc. This is in all my .22's.

Alas, that is my experience also.

It works well in my bolt action rifle, but is utterly worthless in my autoloading pistols. It will not even chamber in a Pardini SP.

More productively, though

Try Aguila SV or CCI SV. They are the best of the low-cost rounds. Aguila in particular is very impressive.
