TOZ 35 VS IZH 1 ......History?

I have a friend that wants to sell his Vostok IZH 1. Does anyone have any history on this free pistol and how does this compare to the TOZ 35? Is one better than the other? Is the IZH1 before MU55 and TOZ 35? Anyone shot the IZH 1 and the TOZ 35?

I shot the both of Pistol - IZH1 and TOZ35. For me TOZ35 is better. My "family" record with IZH1 were 556 and with TOZ35 - 572. But Alexey Gushchin won Olympic Gold in Rome-60 with IZH1.

IZH-1 was designed BEFORE TOZ-35 AND IZH-1 could beat HAMMERLI dominion in those years!
In 1960 - XVII Olympic Games (Rome, Italy) - GOLD (FP = 560 points, Alexey Gushin) with IZH-1.
TOZ-35 - is alive legend! My coach know TOZ-35's inventor - Yefim Haidurov! And we're sure - TOZ-35 - the best!

Truly say - I don't advise You to experiment - JUST BUY BEST FP in the WORLD - TOZ-35!!!
Grave disadvantage - TOZ-35 haven't service support as Morini or Hammerli... :-(
