Pardini K2 VS Morini CM162EI VS Steyr LP10 ? Anyone try all

Post by Claudio »

I was wondering if anyone had tried all three of these pistols.
I wanted to find out how well the Pardini would rate.

Hi,
Yes, I've fired at least a full match with each of these. All three are excellent: reliable, accurate, ergonomic, and adjustable. Compared to the old CO2 Walthers, Feinwerkbaus, FAS pneumatic, etc., all three are remarkably similar and a huge leap forward in terms of shootability. There are subtle differences in features and handling. I prefer the Pardini and Morini sights as you can easily adjust rear notch width. The Steyr gives more adjustability of grip angle and pronation. The electronic trigger on the Morini is great. The Pardini trigger is great. The Steyr trigger feels kind of odd somehow as it lets off, at least to me. Strangely it is the one I've shot the most. The cocking and loading on the Pardini is slightly easier. All minor points in the big picture though. In the end, I bought the Pardini.

US Airgun Magazine Nov/Dec 1998 had a report on the K2.
Check the archives for this bulletin board. Several years ago, this question was covered in considerable detail by a number of contributors.

Notch width on the Steyr is just as easily adjustable as well.
